Today I have a talk with taxi  driver about retirement in the car, now the axi driver can retired at age of 68,

Driver said:” I can work until age 70.”

I said: Why?”

Driver said: “I am very healthy”.

I said: ‘Why are you so healthy?’

Driver said:” I eat pork every day.”

I said: ‘Why eat pork?’

The driver said: "I used to have asthma. When I went to Taiwan Hospital  to see the doctor, they gave me medicine and that medicine made my face became round. I thought round face was blessed to go play mahjong and bring medicine to play mahjong. Because asthma will attack me if the air is not right.One of the friends said asthma is very simple, eat three pounds of fatty layer meat a day, with four or two oz ginger to cook, eat for three and a half years will not be panting.” 

After the driver told his wife, his wife said cook by himself ! The driver said his wife did not have asthma, do not know the pain of asthma. So after eating the meal of pork  the asthma is no longer so painful, the hospital also slowly reduced the medicine, and then reduction to simply do not need to take medicine, asthma is no longer attacking. 

I asked: “How are you now?” He said: "It is very strange that after I continued to eat pork my business has become better. Everyone says their  taxis does not have customer, and my business is so good." 

This made me realize that the reason for the poor economy in Taiwan is that all the doctors told you not to eat fat pork. The more we do not eat, the worse the economy in Taiwan, in the past when the economy in Taiwan was good, everybody was crazy too learned  Taiwanese. “Taiwan money flooded foot.” In the era when Taiwanese ate large quantities of pork, Taiwan Sugar Company raised pigs in large numbers and private farmers also raised pigs. No one now owns pigs. 

Study food is my job, did not expected he would so successful by eating. The wife of the driver used to quarrel with him, and now she loves him to death. I sat in his car and his wife called him twice.
