Professor Chen Yi Kui in teaching, imparting knowledge of all aspects are very public will not hide. In Yang House theory, one must first distinguish one's " East life" or " West life" in order to determine which positions are suitable for those people.

Mr Chan calculated the distinction between "East Fourth Life" and "West Fourth Life" by a very simple formula as follows:

Male: 11- (the birth year of AD divided by the remainder of 9)

For example: a male birth year is 1967. 
11- (1967/9 = 218 ... 5) => 11-5 = 6

6 is Qian Gua (West Fourth Life)

Female: 4 + (the year of birth divided by the remainder of 9)

For example: a woman born in 1974. 
4+ (1974/9 = 219 ... 3) => 4 + 3 = 7

7 is Dui Gua(West Fourth Life)

The birth year shall be separated on January 5 of each year, as the year of exchange.

For example: the birth date of the year of the year is 1975.01.04, to Yang house algorithm, its birth year must be based on the 1974 theory.

"East Fourth Life" trigrams (Gua): 1 坎 K’an,3 震 Zhen, 4 巽 Xin, 9 (or 0) 離 Li.
"West Fourth Life" trigrams (Gua): 2 坤 Kun, 6 乾 Qian, 7 兌 Dui, 8 艮 Gen

When the number is 5 (male goes to Kun and female Goes to Gen)

Applying the above formula, each person's fortune-telling can be informed in less than a few seconds, so as to judge whether it is an individual's "East Fourth Life" or " West Fourth Life". The simplest notation, a good direction to the door is the East Fourth Life facing East, West fourth life facing West.
