Divination (4) The Earthly Branches and Six Beasts in the Hexagram Palace (1-2)
Why did we use fortune tellers to make decisions and decide your fate? This divination used to be used by nobles and emperors. In Western, ancient Egypt, Babylonian times, and Mayan culture times, people who are below only one person and above tens of millions, the one who sacrifices to determine the future of everything in the country. It is equal to his right and even the ability to control the king's behavior. Just like the Zhou Dynasty itself, the King Zhou Wen sorted out the hexagram, who is the real master? Zhou Gong. The king of the Zhou Dynasty was King Zhou Wu, and King Zhou Wu was the son of King Zhou Wen. Originally, King Zhou Wu should be in charge of the Zhou Dynasty. Later, after the emergence of the authentic divination, it was really transferred to the people. Otherwise, the real divination before Daoguang and the functioning must be among the nobles. After Daoguang, the nobles of the Qing Dynasty were affected by the Empress Dowager Cixi’s system of buying officials. Therefore, those who study this have no official position to do, and no salary to receive, so they have to go into the arena.
In the past, Bu, who was walking around the countries, was probably raising a white bird, getting twenty-four cards, and opening a "dragonfly fell into the spider web", and died for sure. In the past, the divination probably all made this category. Or get a few signs, come out to see its numbers, and read its manuscripts. This is street business .
What we are teaching now is a method used by priests in the past. The method is too difficult. It must understand a lot of survival theories and a lot of time concepts. Then you have to remember what year and month is today. This is very important, because it has its basic starting factors. When you have read about motors in physics, when a motor is about to start, at the moment of activation, the power will increase twelve times, so it is called a factor of activation.
Then the question arises. When we figure out what is your destiny and direction, where is its activation point, because this activation must be twelve times greater before you can achieve your goal. The energy of your activation point is equal to zero, and it is useless if you multiply it a thousand times. No wonder you don’t have this thing. Of course, you’re terrible. Then I’ll do something here. Since you will multiply twelve times, then I will provide a little bit to transform it to at least one of the twelve points with the entire driving force, at least you have to provide a little bit before it can start! Because multiplying twelve times to equal 1, it is all equal to your existence, and it is also the principle of oligosaccharides that uses the combination of monosaccharides.
Who will guide this divination in the past? Someone who has done it knows that this divination is effective, but who denies it now? Denied by people who have never did divination, or those who can’t do divination, this is related, so I have always emphasized that our 99.5 people will deny others, because he has not done it himself, and has not been trained, probably will be denied.
The whole structure of monosaccharides, how many kinds of changes are there in its entire ratio. There are eight kinds of monosaccharides on the grape side, and eight kinds of monosaccharides on the fructose side. There are 16 kinds of monosaccharides on both sides. Among the combinations, there are four combinations of more than three. Calculate how many kinds of changes there will be, and how many types of violations or problems can be resisted. We can only use the divination hexagrams to combine these monosaccharides to deal with 1,820 symptoms.
We have told you in the last class that the hexagram palace is established. During its establishment, its metal, wood, water, fire and earth are all based on the first Gua of the hexagram. It’s like Qian is heaven, Dui is marsh, Li is fire, Zhen is thunder, Xun is wind, use such a system as its hexagram palace. But it doesn't use Zhouyi's entire hexagram sequence to make decisions, in divination this is the difficult part here. All the scholars in the past, why scholars and practitioners, we all talk about academics. In fact, learning and practicing is opposite. All scholars use Zhouyi articles, including things in Zhouyi, to make decisions, but the technique must use the decision of the hexagram palace to make the decision, so it is opposite. Those who know the technique, talk to scholars talking about Gua, too lazy to listen. But when the scholar saw the practitioner set up a street stall, he thought it was fake. Lazy to use, in fact, it is the practitioner who actually uses it, and the practitioners can achieve the goal.
The Book of Changes itself has two major series, one ideological system, and the other is the system of techniques. Both systems can be close to people. Therefore, the Book of Changes is divided into several parts. There are too many explanatory parts, and there are too many scholars. Similarly, there are three hundred and fifty in the Siku Quanshu in the part of I Ching. It is Jing, Shi, Zi, Ji, history has 24 histories, Jing part of the Book of Changes contains three hundred and fifty parts, which is an incredible thing. Technique is not included in it, but it should be put in the subset. In fact, there are very few divinations in the Book of Changes. There are only more medical techniques in the Book of Changes, so there is a little mention in the book collection of ancient and modern, especially the Shan Ming Tong Hui, which is mentioned here.
Throughout history, why did the academic community pay more attention to the eight characters in the five techniques, because the eight characters were included in the culturally important book by Kangxi, which is the collection of ancient and modern books, called the Shanmingtonghui, and later in the Qianlong era. It is included in the SgengFengTingKao, so the eight-character fortune telling is in a very important position.
Doushu is more difficult to understand. Later, there were some people specializing in Doushu. The eight characters were Xu Ziping. Those were written by those who were selected for the Hanlin point in the palace examination. They are very knowledgeable. When you want to write Doushu, you have to bring out some result, that’s a well-known thinker in the Song Dynasty called Chen Bo, who was passed down as Chen Xiyi. If you are studying this kind of history, you will have to put a question mark on these.
When Divination comes, everyone will use Zhouyi as a Divination. After the Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi was the first to advocate, so no matter which dictatorial government, you can’t deny it. You have to know this is a big deal. There are only two people who are the most authoritarian in the entire history, one Qin Shihuang, one Mao Zedong, Qin Shihuang’s burn books and killed scholars, Zhou Yi did not abolish it. Mao Zedong abolished all five techniques, only Zhou Yi did not dare to do so, and the other one who did not dare to do so was the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic of Chinese Medicine.
The People's Republic of China does not have this set of fortune-telling books. Why? Transported by our Palace museum. The original edition of Siku Quanshu was transported by our Palace museum. There is also a set of Yongle Grand Ceremony written in the Ming Dynasty. It was burned by the Allied Forces of the Eight Nations in Yuanmingyuan. Therefore, mainland China does not have this set of Scripture, History, Zi, and Ji. The Great Revolution? Nothing left, clean it all up.
