Meridian and Acupuncture (1) Overview (1-3)

(Dr. Chen Yi Kui)

Talking about acupuncture and moxibustion, there are some herbalists in every small place. They learn only a few tricks then sell plasters in the market. It is surgery. Acupuncture belongs to internal medicine. What kind of disease is needle poking? There were many different groups in every place. There are groups in the arena, so there are many schools of acupuncture and moxibustion, and schools are different. In the Song Dynasty, there was a person who was really amazing. He had a wealth of wealth. He was not a rich businessman but a wealthy son. His surname was Wang, and name Wang Wei-Yi. He learns alchemy, his family is very rich to hire a lot of alchemists, most of the people who wander can not afford three meals, and the children of the big landlords have to support him. It is so cool, all the tricks of the itinerant person are taken out and all are combined. Including the Huangdi's internal scriptures were all sorted out at that time, which itself was a Su Wen chapter, that is, you must be proficient in the imperial physician. The Lingshu chapter only has acupuncture and moxibustion problems. So because his parents had some poor imperial doctors, he could bring him in. The Song Dynasty has a very famous industrial technology, such as copper casting, how to burn lime, and how to make building materials. It has a book called Tiangong Kaiwu, which is the most remarkable of the Song Dynasty. Some of the scientific methods in it are earlier than the British Industrial Revolution. Six hundred years. Those things should be carried forward after the Industrial Revolution, and the Heavenly Craftsmanship of the Song Dynasty was terrific. At that time, they knew how to get kerosene and how to dig coal. We now have dragon bone fossils in Chinese medicine, and we dig dinosaur fossils. It was not until the 20th century that dinosaurs were dug up, dug to use, dug to drink, and eat up dinosaur bones. So I said that the mind and culture of the Chinese are a little different from those of the Western world. Western is using this technology, wanting to use technology to manage people, the Chinese are using naturally existing things for people, this is to protect themselves.

This gentleman Wang Youyi sold out his family properties and assembled some alchemists who were despised by the nobles at that time, so he made a very famous bronze man who is now a priceless treasure. If he thinks he should do it, he can’t just do one. He does three, the Song Dynasty had this idea, and all three were not polite. There are no three things that fail to form one body or one ritual. This is a very important concept. The Yongle Dadian was written in three parts by hand, and the Siku Quanshu was also written in three. The Yongle Dadian disappeared because it was placed in the Old Summer Palace. The Eight-Power Allied Forces burned the Old Summer Palace and the Yongle Dadian disappeared, including the Siku Quanshu. Taiwan’s Sikuquanshu was moved from Xi’an to the Forbidden City. In the Forbidden City, during the war with Japan, the Nationalist government brought the things from the Forbidden City to Chongqing. When it was about to be restored, the British ship was asked to move back to Nanjing from the Yangtze River. At that time, he received Chiang Kai-shek’s order that he could no longer go ashore. If he went ashore, he would be taken away by the Communist Party. In the end, Mr. Hang Liwu and the British merchant ship didn’t know how much they had to pay. They drove into Keelung Port under the British flag and secretly transported them to Taichung by train. Then they were transported to Wufeng in an ox cart, hidden in the cave of Wufeng Lin's house dug by the Japanese. The air-raid shelters were all there, and three soldiers were sent there to take care of it. Many people really wanted to see that treasure. At that time, the Republic of China had no power and retreated to Taiwan. So the very rich, including Westerners, and those who like antiques want to see it. If you see it, you will have to pay a price. When the money is donated to the labor force, Lao Jiang will send a C119 double-tube to Taichung, and then take them to see it in an old car. Once there was Lu Yuntao, a very wealthy overseas Chinese. He was in Kaohsiung, so he sent a C47 with two propellers to Sanyi, but it exploded and died. You see that antiques killed many people.

After the bronze man was made, it is still world-class. Well, there is no such bronze man in Taiwan now, because the Song Dynasty did not collect it in the government's hands. At that time, it was not collected in the Forbidden City. I often said that acupuncture and moxibustion were used by slaves, and they were collected in the hands of local princes. Therefore, after Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, for this they robbing antiques, the Japanese grabbed one. Now in the Tokyo Imperial Museum, the Japanese set up their own acupuncture school.

We used to look at acupuncture and moxibustion. There was a bronze figure. We pirated it from textbooks in Japanese acupuncture schools. One was in the British Empire Museum, but two feet were broken, leaving only the upper body. At another time when China was the poorest, beating and beating turned into broken copper and broken iron. It is not always necessary to sell broken copper and broken iron to melt into a copper wire. The other disappeared until now and cannot be found. After he completed it in this way, it was only in the Jin Dynasty that there was a book of acupuncture and moxibustion. The real book of acupuncture and moxibustion appeared in the Jin Dynasty, called the JiaYi Classic of Acupuncture, created by Huang Fu Mi. All the meridians in the JiaYi meridians of acupuncture and moxibustion are based on the only bronze man of the king. Then the king’s only bronze man’s twelve meridians include the two channels of Ren and Du. He deployed them very well, adding up to 360 acupuncture points. The latitude and longitude of the earth, which are just in line with modern science, are both three hundred and sixty degrees. So humans are in harmony with the earth. This thought was also in the Song Dynasty, so the Neo-Confucianism of the Song Dynasty is very remarkable. In this kind of therapy, man is in harmony with the earth, and the earth is in harmony with the sky, so the three talents are available, that is, the man and the earth are in harmony, and the earth and the sky are in harmony, called heaven, earth and humans three combine.

Neo-Confucianism came in this way, and later he used the sixty-four hexagrams of the Zhou Dynasty as a whole. Each sutra has its six lines. This is all defined as well, exactly six lines Gua, all completed. Unbelievable, no one knows how to use it. Finally, when the culture of the Ming Dynasty came to life, Wang Youyi collected all the research from various places and assembled a complete theory. After the combination was completed, it was only in the Jin Dynasty that Huangfu Mi was able to complete it. Combine this model. Three hundred and sixty models of acupuncture points are written into a book called JiaYi Classic of Acupuncture. The writer may not know how to use it. Huangfu Mi uses his wisdom. You have already made a record of it. It’s like we’re going to make an atomic bomb. Everyone writes an article. One is great to combine it, and the other is even better. After combining it, I will tell you how to combine it into a book, but do you know how to make an atomic bomb? The people I just talked about were very proud of themselves. They were raised by others and took some money. After the completion, Wang Youyi wanted to say that the project was completed, and everyone retired to him and carried a few ounces of silver back. In his hometown, the one who knows about him is the one who teaches his apprentices there, and he knows only those. Every place will have those only. Although it is so complete, everyone will be different. It seems that there is a complete medical research institute, but everyone's expertise is different. You are in ophthalmology. He looks at the throat, he looks at the ears, and he looks at the anal, colorectal, and rectal departments. With this kind of model, the Chinese have been able to keep it for so long. They don’t admit that others are right even if they are killed. They thought they were the best. The only one in the world is me, who is the best.

In the Ming Dynasty, in fact it was not the Ming Dynasty. The Yuan Dynasty already has it. There was one book in the Yuan Dynasty. The book was very good but not complete. The methods of pulling everything &were not very complete. When it was very complete, it was the Ming Dynasty. Yang Jizhou published the Encyclopedia of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, printed with woodblock lettering, and in 1934 (Republic of China) in Shanghai, it was folded with bright cardboard and printed with thread books. My teacher, Sun Peirong, brought that book of Acupuncture and Moxibustion to Taiwan.
